Introduction of Eimskip Cold Store in Qingdao

 

On July 23rd, 2007, Eimskip signed the agreement with Qingdao Port to build up the largest ever cold store in China.

·covering an area of over 20,000 squre meters, with 55,000 tons capacity
·6 floors and 36 refrigerated rooms, all individually temperature-controlled.
· 997 square meter and 1300 tons capacity for each refregerated room with designed temperature from -4¡æ--- -25¡æ, perfect for storage of chilled and frozen products.

·Location---700 meters to container and bulk terminal, the most geographically superior cold store Qingdao has ever had. It secures the the whole cold chain will not be broken during the transport.
