Introduction of Eimskip Cold Store in Qingdao

 

On July 23rd, 2007, Eimskip signed the agreement with Qingdao Port to build up the largest ever cold store in China.

·covering an area of over 20,000 squre meters, with 55,000 tons capacity
·6 floors and 36 refrigerated rooms, all individually temperature-controlled.
· 997 square meter and 1300 tons capacity for each refregerated room with designed temperature from -4¡æ--- -25¡æ, perfect for storage of chilled and frozen products.

 g. The Inbound
The Inbound function is used for RF receiving and inventory management. Inbound functions including warehouses available by appointment, yard management, receiving, stock location, stock tracking and other functions. Physical count and cycle counting also included among the function.

 h.The Outbound
The outbound function is used to track customer orders, from system input to the shipment of the whole process. Include wave and task management, inventory allocation, picking / packing, replenishment, mixed and shipping functions.

i.Report
The system can query all the information requested by customers.
