On Oct, 6th, 2007, In the presence and honor of H. E. Mr. ólafur Ragnar Grímsson, Icelandic President and H.E. Mr Jiang Daming, Acting governor of Shandong Province,  Eimskip signed the framework agreement with Huangdao Government on her future investment. According to the agreement, Eimskip will heavily invest about $1 billion  in Huangdao Area (where logistics and warehousing business is mainly developed) in the future. Meanwhile, Eimskip also signed Letter of Intent with Shandong Luyi Container Transportation Co., Ltd to acquire her 60% shares. 
      We believe, with the support from local government, Eimskip will develop a full-swing establishment as the Eimskip Asia business center and also the perfect supporting facilities to cold store. The Logisitics Chain of Eimskip will be complete by then.
